Blocked Account
€11,208/year (current rate) deposited in a German blocked account as proof of funds
Health Insurance
Public or recognized private German health insurance is mandatory

Visa Process
University Admission
Receive your Letter of Admission (Zulassungsbescheid) from a recognized German university
Open Blocked Account
Deposit ~€11,208 in a German blocked account (Sperrkonto) as proof of financial means
Health Insurance
Obtain provisional German health insurance coverage
Visa Application
Apply at the German Embassy with admission letter, passport, biometrics, APS, and financial proof
Travel & Register
Travel to Germany within visa validity, register address (Anmeldung), and convert to residence permit
20 hrs/week (or 120 full days/year) during studies; 18-month Job Seeker Visa after graduation; EU Blue Card pathway to PR
